cobra swap
Hey guys. I have a 2000 gt stock engine and trans. I was wondering if a 2000 cobra trans would bolt up to my stock 4.6 engine

Yes it will... Everything from a cobra will pretty much just bolt on. provided you have all the parts from it.

Only Cobra offered in the US that year was the 2000 Cobra R with the T56. Is that the transmission you have?

LOL I was gonna say something but I figured he just got the year mixed up. I just dont see a cobra r owner yanking the transmission for an auto. LOL

Lol. Oh sorry. 2001 cobra trans. My bad guys. So everything would bolt back up together

What about the 99 year model cobras. Are They all the same

the difference between a 99 cobra and GT are nothing more than the IRS/brakes and the engine. the trannies are the same.

Thanks for all the info. What Do You guys think of a cobra trans behind a gt Engine. Is it a waste of time or not.

like they said it's not a cobra tranny behind a gt engine cause it is the same tranny if 99 or tr 3650 if 01.
