I know this is a bit late but I just did mine today. I got the dual element bulbs, $56 bucks shipped for the set. The high beam, low beam wires were swapped so I had to pull the pins out of the light harness and move them... took an extra 5 minutes.

I got the 6000k version because blue light is not good for night vision. these are slightly blue, not like the really blue 8000k + versions.

The only issue it seems to have after the install is they don't want to quite fire on the first go. they work every time on the 2nd time and beyond. I'll get more into it later maybe.

i got mine from another ebay seller but they look like the ones above. I have a feeling that most of the ones on ebay are from the same manufacturer.

I just need to figure something for the fog lights. they look horrible now! I might swap them to full yellow if I can find a bulb.

Also, Re someone earlier in the thread complaining about glare... these just don't seem to glare at all. I also have experienced vehicles glaring at me at night but the more I think about it the more I realize it is mainly trucks that burn my eyes out. I think the Mustang sits so low that it negates most of it, and the headlight housing seems to be a good design to knock any glare down. They look like the lights at the dentist. you know they are bright but they don't burn your eyes out for some reason when you look right into them.

I got a set of 35watt 6000k ddmtuning hi-lo HID and I've never been flashed, I have passed plenty of cops on two lane backroads and followed them and had no problems other than 2 misfires since december, the install was simple and best of all only cost $69 shipped.

I've got the same kit, think I've had maybe one misfire, no problems with cops or being flashed either

Just a little general info for ya. I have HID kits from ebay in 4 outta five of my cars. They're great! Just make sure you get one from an American seller. Much faster shipping that way. They're all 35w. The color temp makes a big difference. A lot of people think they need to go with a high temp to make it look cool. 3000K is a standard halogen color HID. It would look like a standard halogen, but brighter. 4300K is in my opinion the best color to brightness ratio. 4300K is the standard color for a factory optioned HID vehicle. They're white with a hint of blue. They look the best by far in my opinion. Just remember, the higher the number the more blue they are. 6000K is about as far as I'd go. They get too blue after that. We just got a set of 5000K for her Edge because it's all they had. I like them, they're bright, but I like my 4300Ks way better. One more thing, just go to sylvania.com and look up whatever light you'd like to get in HID. Take that number, go to ebay, type that number and HID kit in the search and I guarantee you'll get a low beam set delivered for $40 and a HI/LOW kit delivered for $70. Hope this helps.

FYI, kits are plug and play. Occasionally a test light is needed to find polarity, but usually just plug it in, find somewhere to mount the ballast, and you're done!

I just finished installing my DDM Tuning kit which has been on my workbench for a week. It is completely plug and play. Since I have the dark smoked headlights, I bought a 55W kit at 5000K and they look decent. I may consider getting a pair of 4000K bulbs to replace these. They don't look blue when you look at the lights, but the road looks a little blue while driving. I had figured that the 55W kit would wash out the blue hue, but it still has a little more blue than I want. The light output is much greater than the Sylvania Ultras I was using.

Earlier, I had mentioned a concern about glare if I used a HID kit in my stock style housings... I would say there is NO glare form my set-up. Anyone who is concerned because they have seen other cars with glare, our Mustangs are fine with the HID kits installed.

It is hard to beat the value of a pair of DDM HID's!!!
