It is completely plug n play and it already comes with a harness and relays wired in and everything. Note: on both times I had a misfire I just turned off the lights then turned them back on. I used some double sided tape from my rc car days to mount the ballasts and they are holding up well, just use common sense, don't mount it to the radiator or anything that can get hot (no kids the exhaust manifolds are not good mounting points).

I, also, am wanting yellow fogs. Is there a HID temp that has a yellow tint?

3k is yellow, I too want to run yellow hid fogs my only concern is that the harness on the ddm kit is too short from the bulb to the ballast and I'd have to mount the ballast somewhere that alot of moisture can get to them. Also note on the ddm kit the igniter is not inside the ballast, I think this keeps them cool and helps them last longer (electrical engineers chime in)
