LCA's
Hey guys, i've done some searching on the forums here about LCA's, and read Jazzers suspension guide thread, but i'm still a bit confused here. I'm not really a suspension guy lol. What decently priced LCA's would you recommend for my setup? The J&M's look good to me, but are they worth the money? I'm not looking for the best (nor do i want to spend $200+ if possible) i just want something that's noticeably better than stock, that will help me launch a little better. Right now the only thing done to my suspension is the pro kit. Everything else is stock. I may do some shocks and struts (with H&R Super Sport springs) later on, but for now i'm wondering if this will help with my current setup.
Thanks
Thanks
They're a couple bucks more than you want to spend, but the only ones I have any experience with are the MM hd's. Had 'em on for over 3 years and they're a huge improvement from stock. If I had to do it again I'd probably go for the XD's though.
I followed the Jazzer Guide & picked up UPR's adj LCA's. I love em! W/ shipping I paid $163.95.
Might as well do the shocks because you'll be down working in that general area already with the lca's. And i'd say do the shock & struts at the same time.... so yes do it.

Thanks guys! Yeah, i know the MM's are good, but pricey. I'm gonna look into the UPR's too.
I would love to do shocks/struts, c&c plates, h&r springs, and lca's all in one shot, but the budget just won't allow that at the moment. So, i sort have to pick and choose right now, and thought some decent lca's would be a good place to start.

Mm's are more a twisty lca. I was looking at baseline or teams z. I dont know if the baselines have sway bar mounts but team zs do.
my buddy runs upr uppers and lowers on his sra kb cobra and he hooks awsome.

I've read that the uca's are not as critical as lca's when it comes to straight line launches. Don't know if that's true, but i've heard that a few times.

These guys pretty much got you covered
If you look under the LCA's, I have a list of those that fall under the whole spectrum of strength and listed for DD with moderate twisties, to heavy twisties to all out 1/4 mile launching beasts. Take your pick, but think LONG AND HARD about your budget limitations and your desire to hook at the Christmas tree. You go trying to save money on LCA's now, you may just find yourself needing a tow home if you rip apart an LCA not designed for the abuse while on the 1/4 mile. This is due to the likelyhood that you up your grip/torque over time.
