What brake pads and fluid for cobra brakes?
just searched for like 45 min and really couldn't find a definitive awnser. what hawk pads should i go with the hps or the ceramic ones? its not a daily driver anymore and i do get some good 100+ stops in. my stock rotors and pads where horribly heat cracked. also should i go with a hi temp brake fluid? all my fluid is out so now is the time i just don't exactly know what i should go with....
hawk hps or ceramic
regular brake fluid or hi temp

I have powerslot rotors with motorcraft pads, and they stop amazing. I used Motorcraft brake fluid in the car, and 100+ stops are normal for the car, as well as daily driving. I have no gripes about them.
The biggest and best thing you can do it to make sure you wear the pads in before any serious stopping. This will keep them from sqeeking and moaning when you come to a stop.

I run HPS pads up front for many months and have zero issues of noise and minimal dust (< subjective on amount of dust)
Seems to me some hardcore pimp of the feline variety wrote a bad-*** brakes upgrade thread to help out his kittens in braking distress
If looking for such 100+ MPH stops, it makes NO sense not to get pads/fluid/SS lines to address the heat created by it. Jump to all out race fluid and deal with some dust. I think it would be nice to STOP and clean the wheels once in a while. The alternative is just keep GOING with clean wheels
Jazzer says peep the upgrade, bra

ops sorry jazzer i didn't know you had a new writeup otherwise i woulda looked at that. i was trying to search like cobra pads, cobra brakes, etc. but ya i was thinking the hps front pads. and some wilwood race brake fluid from summit. my wheels are black anyways so they can go a little bit without cleaning lol. but thanks, hey killjoy whats the best way to break in the pads. heating them up and then letting them cool or? i heard of doing it just don't know how

The break-in procedure is very easy and quick with most brake pads. Manufacturers will have instructions on the website and/or on the box from which the pads are shipped.

PS. Get some SS lines at ALL FOUR CORNERS if going so far as to replace fluid. Roush usually has them cheap and WELL worth the investment.

Hawk HPS pads are very good! While flushing out the existing fluid, replace it with a higher grade fluid. Many good fluids on the market. SS lines is also a great idea while your at it. Bed the pads in properly, and you will love the end result from the upgrades!!!
