replacing driver side window

anybody have any experience doing this? i need to swap mine out because i have a deep scratch in it, and i want to get my windows tinted. any tips on this will be helpful. windows are electric, not crank.

thanks alot cliff, this is exactly what i was looking for. i was gonna try jewelers rouge, but the scratch is pretty deep and i wasn't sure about trying it on tempered glass.
