How can they justify charging this much for things like centercaps, when the resale for these cars isn't really all that great to begin with? The 03-04 Cobra seems to hold some decent value, but Bullitts, Machs, pre 03 Cobras, etc... have all significantly dropped in value from what i've seen.

Seems like its really just the Cobra caps that demand a premium. The mach caps are dirt cheap, aftermarket caps like "281, GT, 4.6, MUSTANG" are also dirt cheap and as good or better quality...

Hell I thought the corvette tax was intense..but we never paid $50 for center caps, haha

Yeah, but like crash was saying, Bullitt caps are going for around $89 a piece. That's just insane lol.

I guess companies that charge these insane prices for things like centercaps and whatnot, count on the fact that there will always be a percentage of people that are dumb enough not to shop around and just buy them.
