Well the tires have been mounted for about a week now. My tramlining issue has been diminished with the 255's versus the 275's. They are more snappy in wheel response. No more sloppy steering wheel.
It even looks much better than the 275. It doesn't even remotely look 'stretched'.
Overall...I'd recommend a 255 on a 9" wheel from now on. 275's...never again. Unless you like feeling like you're driving a pig.

What brand tire did you end up going with ?
I have 275 on the front of my Cobra and its either bumpsteers bad or trams bad cant tell the differants really, its confusing to tell apart.
Well I was thinking on going with 255 40 17 in the front also on my 9" Cobra Rs.
Have any new pics with tires on front ?
