Default Tire sizing

How well will a 255 sit on a 9" wheel? I had 275's before. The 255's are $20 cheaper. Will it fit?!

My bro has 255's on the front with 17x9's, and it seems to fit fine. It looks a tad stretched IMO though. He's been running it that way for a couple of years now with no problems.

255s are gonna be stretched on a 9" rim...itll work, but wont look all that great...a 9" rim needs atleast a 275 IMO...

I have 245s on my 9inch wheel right now. I bought new wheels and the tires were practically brand new... so I figured why not. They're stretched, I'd fit in with the stance works guys, but they've been on for a while and I haven't had any issues... You'll be fine with a 255

I don't have any pictures of my wheels surprisingly. I would take a picture right now, but my car is 300 miles away at home, I'm a school with my jeep.

I can get you a picture in 2 weeks? lol

Edit: if you look hard enough at my sig, you can kinda see it

When I first got my car it already had the rims I have on it and the previous owner had 245's up front as well. It really didn't look that terrible, 255 will definitely fit fine.

255s will be fine im running 245s now they replaced the 275s i had up front and i didnt notice how sloppys the 275s made my sterring feel until i went back with 245s on the same 9" rim I hadthe 275s on. 275s on the back will be fine but they make the front end/steeering a little lose and heavy feeling when ran on the front. 255s should be fine i plan on trying some out next year.

Yea I'm thinking 255's will have pretty good steering response.
