Saleen rims for my 96 Gt?
Ok I have a 96 Gt and I've been wanting some saleen rims for a while and got some extra money, so I'm going for it. Now my question is, what should I do as far as off set? LIke should I do 17x9 for the front and 18x9 for the back? I don't want rubbing. Also just to add the car is at stock height. Also what should I do for a tire size to get the best look? Just any insight on the idea would really help. Anyone got some Saleens they want to sell?

You should be able to go bigger than 17x9 and 18x9, especially at stock height. I personally like 17s as I worry more about the performance hits you take with bigger rims, but for pure looks I think 18s front and back. You really shouldn't have a rubbing problem, especially at stock height. Saw a Mustang the other day staggering 255s up front and 315 in back, and he was lowered!

You could do 17s too, I honestly love 17s cause you can get wide tires without sacrificing power like you do with wider rims. I usually end up buying tires from TireRack, I know they sell rims too but I've never bought any there.
Whatever size you end up going with you shouldn't have to worry about rubbing though, unless you go with something completely outrageous! AFAIK you can fit 275s up front no problem, and the backs can go to at least 315
