Nitto NT05R vs Mickey Thompson ET Streets

1. http://www.americanmuscle.com/nitto-...315-35-17.html

2. http://www.americanmuscle.com/mickey...al-315r17.html

Anyone running either? Which do you prefer? Looking to change it up from the Nitto 555R. Looking to hook better. Power numbers are in my sig.

The buzz i'm getting is that as good as the NT05R's are doing, they're still not quite as grippy as good old MT's. Not sure how true that is, but it's what i hear.

I might consider the NT05R's after my 555R's are done.

^I heard the same thing. I want some MT's for a track tire though. I'm still debating if I should drop the ball on it.

My vote is for MT's. The tires Lizzy has on his car look just straight up dirrrrrrtttttttty! (Dirty as in kickass)

I currently own both, with the only difference being the MT are 15". I gained 2 1/10ths on my 60' going to ET streets with skinnies up front over the NT05R. I was with stock suspension and 315 NT05R's cutting 1.92 60' last year consistently at about 18lbs of air in them.

just noticed the ET Streets your are looking at are the radial's, mine are the Bias ply version(basicly a full slick with a few tiny grooves).
