GT.... What are the ULTIMATE goals for your ride?
You pretty much spelled it out, but is what one must ask his/herself when doing mods... ANY mods, really. WannaBe said it best... If you want to hit hard corners, the UCA's must be removed from the equation, as some others have said, and go PHB or WL with TA. A great cornering ride will be OK at the 1/4, but a great 1/4 ride will outright suck at corners.
If you want to REALLY be good at one or the other.... you must choose!

Ultimately the twisties are what I want most. The car would only see the strip once or maybe twice a year, I prefer to take my other car to the strip. Also I am not looking to swap an irs in this time, wanna try a different route than an irs for once.
I think JAZZER has done a good job of making the point I was getting at. You can take a car that handles well to the track and do fairly well with it, but a drag oriented set-up will not be worth a crap in the corners. I wouldn't worry about the general effect that handling upgrades might have upon your 60'. With a pair of DRs, you could still get "decent" 60' times.
They are hideous little beasts and should be banned from the universe by an all-knowing higher-power
