look at the pic at the top of page 2 in this thread. thats your k-member. the way it sits in the photo is the way you would see it if you were standing in front of your car looking down into the engine bay with the engine removed, plus all other accessories. now get a good understanding of it, and imagine what the underside should look like. then, go under your car, and try to look for any twisting or binding in that hulking mass weighing down your front end, and if somethin don't look right, then your k-member is probably fugged.

EDIT: the k-member in the photo is actually backwards from how it sits in your engine bay, i think. either way, you should be able to get the idea of what im sayin here)
