My MACs had a terrible drone. Now I have Flowmaster super 40s. No drone and car is way quiet. And thats with off road X pipes. I actually wish it was just a bit louder now.
Those Flows must have made you deaf! I had that setup and couldnt hear myself think on the highway and it was plenty loud enough to draw the wrong kinda attention!
i dunno man, with the exhaust setup in my sig, i only experience a drone at certain highway speeds. cruising between 70-75mph (which is my most frequent highway travel speed) is pretty quiet on the inside.

LOL
I am absolutely with teej281 on this one! I ran 3 chamber flowmasters with O/R X and had to weld in a pair of cats after 2 days of missery!
OP,
The 3 chamber Flowmasters flow equally well as the 2 chambers, but are much quieter. Those with cats will be pretty quiet. My car is nearly silent, or so it seems, when I put my catted mid-pipe on for inspection each year.
My experience is that the MAC ProChamber actually dampens the interior sound a little vs. the O/R H-pipe. I would not expect an O/R H-pipe to be any quieter inside the car than the ProChamber is.
