Question Help with low speed vibration

I need some advice on my 01 GT. Recently it started vibrating really bad when I would make a left turn, doesnt do it while making a right. It shakes like crazy, the steering wheel definitely jumps.I had the front rotors replaced with new ones back in Feb. but was wondering if they may need to be turned again? Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

I doubt it's the rotors. Rotors you would feel regardless of direction and only when you brake. Something is breaking down on the left side. Maybe it is a ball joint or the control arm.

Yeah something's binding up. Get it in the air and wiggle the wheels around with your hand side to side and top to bottom and see if anything is loose. Then take a look at the suspension components and make sure everything looks right.

oh that sounds great,is there any chance it could be the front struts,as they are the ones from the factory and the car has 110,000 miles? As for ball joint or control arm,how hard is it to replace those?

I doubt it's the struts. You need to get it in the air and check that left side out. As for how hard - probably not hard at all if you have the right tools and a lift. I would let a mechanic tell you whats wrong with it and have them show you. Then you can make an educated decision from there.

Ok so I jacked the car up and checked both front wheels, and the were tight,no wobble whatsoever, this is really wierd. Is there any chance it could be the u joints? I seem to remember a jeep I had that shook really bad at very low speeds.Im just trying to get an idea before i take it to a shop and they try to ream me a new one. Also could it be one of the front calipers slightly grabbing?

Unless I can see it or feel it, it's all guess work. Your only shot is to take it in and have it looked at by a trained eye. Hopefully you know a reputable shop that won't put the screws to ya. Keep us posted.

well found out it was the clutch pack in the rearend that needed to be replaced, the rest of it looked good so at least not a serious problem.
and a few seals were leaking but its all good now.
