yeah i never heard anything about it until i got my crank installed and went to spin it and "clunk". Luckily other people posted about it so i was able to see where it was hitting and after some grinding and a lot of cleaning got it to spin smooth with some clearance.

5 observations from watching 1000's of street racing Youtube videos.

1 - Has to be somewhat daylight. Cameras don't record good at night.

2 - Camera has to be in one of the cars that is in the race. A camera car following doesn't make for exciting video.

3 - Cars have to be somewhat evenly matched. The only cool video of someone getting slaughtered is when it's a ricer...lol

4 - Camera quality. Your IPhone might shoot video, but that doesn't mean you should use it. Hi-Def would be the camera of choice in this scenario. Now days, your average Sony Cybershot will shoot 720p Hi-Def.

5 - More than one race. Make it exciting. A couple from a roll, then a couple from a dig. Swap the camera from car to car so we get both rides point of views.

And if you guys really did pull this off, be safe. We all know the dangers associated with street racing. Wouldn't want to see anybody get hurt or wreck their rides. It's just so much more exciting when it's on the street...

^^ My 03 GT is definately right.. lol

I think both of your cars will be pretty evenly matched, especially because your both auto's.. except the tq advantage CT is going to have from giggly! too bad you all are on the opposite side of the country!

Nice build CT! What cams are you going with? and what is your set up for heads..? maybe I missed it in the beginning..
