^+1 to that, with that good of a budget you can get a nice vortech setup/intercooler/all supporting mods and even put your money towards other mods

I've had a procharger and vortech on my car and now have the kb. just from my experience with the 3 I prefer the kb for a car that's daily driven, more fun having that low rpm power to me. If I build a drag car again I will use a centri on it but for the streets I prefer pd blowers. All depends on what kind of driving you like imo. Also @ op if your budget is up to 4500 I can point you in the right direction for a used kb, if that would be your preference, they can be had for well within that range. There's actually a 2.6 for 4000 for sale right now.

No ****. Are you really going to try to start the centri vs pd arguement with me again? Its all about preference so if he wanted to spend the money and wanted help to find a deal I was letting him know.

I was arguing economics cost vs cost i said nothing about pd vs centri and how they work or whatever. If they guy want to save money at the same time get a blower for low cost are you saying that pd blowers are cheaper than cetri's on the new and used side? Thats cost Nothing to do with the operational difference of the two types of blowers mentioned. So to answer your question NO im not having the centri vs pd argument with you again and thats kinda clear based off the things stated!

On3 new forward facing turbo kit looks nice and can be had for less than $4500. Modularspeed bought the 4v kit and says quality and fitment is very good. Just another option for you. Plus an auto and turbo just go so well together.

Well if you are talking long term and he plans on making more power. Then the kenne bell would be cheaper because its capable of making more overall power. It matters how much power he wants in te long run and what rpm levels he wants it...
