Well the headers are coated, but it looks like the production version of the forward facing kits are still made with polished stainless as you can see here...

That's the thread that I was talking about earlier. That car is sick and has lots of potential. Been trying to follow it through the end and its come together well and made lots of power.

ah thanks.
i plan on pushin the 2v to the limit once i get it situated. cant wait to see how the turbo cams affect spool time. prolly have to go with a bigger A/R, or just bigger turbo...

edit: might consider upgrading when i ditch the QA1 setup.

That's turbo kit only. You provide the fuel system, maf, and front suspension.

thats the purpose, its a budget kit. i paid 2069 with the masterpower upgrade shipped to my door... you have to add in all the other costs for tune, injectors, pump, suspension, yourself...

the upgrade for me would be ~1000$ for forward facing... so i'd have to sell off the hotside i pull off on craigslist or something...

i just wanna make sure you understand, that the 2200$ isnt all inclusive, you still need injectors (42lb'ers, can usually get them 150-180$), a fuel pump (SVT focus pump for 80$), tubular front end with coilovers (estimate around 800-1000$ depending on brand/struts), and a tune (500-600$ depending), and a MAF (lightning maf, 90$).. your talkin into the 3800$ range...

this is of course, assuming you do the install yourself. its not one of the more fun installs, i'll tell you that right now lol. you'll definately want a good impact wrench, and DEFINATELY get some PB Blaster!! seriously.. lol ****s amazing.

A lot of On3 nutswinging in this thread. On3 is one of the most hit or miss companies I know of. Some people have no problems with them and other times people have issues from the get go and it takes a long time to get resolved, if it does get resolved, as the company won't answer/return your calls.

If you go on Corral there is at least 1-2 threads about On3 almost everyday. Some good, some bad. The kit is cheap for a reason.
