The cure for no drone?
Yea, when I had my a catted h and sss terminators I was sitting at 94dB flat highway windows up cc set at 70 and 102dB uphill under load.....after watching that video that gives you an idea how loud it was. No good for a daily driver.
But that was a mix of shear volume of muffler tone and drone. I would like to be able to measure drone and not just dB levels as drone lives within dB levels.
As the video states anything under 20 Hz is not heard, but felt via vibration. With us sitting at 34Hz we can actually hear it. And low frequencies are harder to eliminate than high frequencies.
Thanks Lizzy. I honestly think it's a sweet design being as mechnical minded as I am. Now whether or not it WORKS and does not "clang" after a week of use is a different story.
I think part of me wants to try it so bad because there is no solid info/reviews out there on this muffler. The videos I posted are the ones really worth a crap and none are on a mustang. I'll end up posting pics and maybe doing my own little comprehensive review.
I don't know how much people will care on here since the mentality seems to be "the louder the better the more badass I am even if my ears bleed when cruising"
