Oh im not doubting that one bit... Coilovers > springs (especially cut springs)

But i paid $0 and people like Teej have paid $1600+

So for a low ride that is still good enough to bring passengers in and take a corner pretty strong, ill go my route everytime.

I can't advise anyone else to cut their springs unless they do the research on what they are getting into. As a general rule, never cut more than a coil.

I cut with a cut off wheel. 5/8 a coil up front.

I'll say this...I paid for the all included kit that price. It can be done for a lot less than that. But I would never put any of those parts on my car. But it can be done a lot cheaper than what I put into it.

Nothing wrong with that. I've run UPR coilovers and Strange 10-ways on a couple of my cars.

I probably would have bought UPR coil overs a while ago if they were advertised as fitting bilstein dampers... Some cobra guys have said they do it on their cars just fine, but the UPR website says they don't work with bilstein HD's.

Some guy on here runs stranges and UPR coilovers and loves it. Says it handles amazing for being a drag setup.

So i'm not belittling UPR's stuff at all. I actually have UPR stuff on my car and think it's great quality. So don't get the wrong message from that post. I was just messing with Teej.
