Question: LT or Cams?

i talk to Jim at CMS and see what setup would be best then, my plans are to do cams with the springs and i will install them and degree them myself, and then do gears and a blower, the gears im going to take to a shop to install, seems like way to much work for all that lol, so i should be ok with blower cams for a while? i don't want to loose HP with bigger cams, i mean i don't know how long it will be until i get enough funds together for a SC, im dead set on a roots style, i just cant do it to myself to get a procharger or vortech, the whine is like sex to me, can't get enough, and I NEED IT haha sorry a little to much there but im thinking a KB setup or if i can get a torktech kit for cheap i might do that but thats not for a little while down the road since im thinking that will cost close to 5k?

If the debate is between cams and long tubes... ABSOLUTELY do the cams!
Agree that if you know you are going supercharger later, get blower cams.
LOL Interesting that you are willing to do cams yourself, but consider gears too much trouble. Gears are a much easier install than cams...
If you really intend to do boost later, you should think about saving money for the blower.
