I dont have any way to know for sure, so i think i'll stay at 125. my wideband got damaged when my trans came apart so i cant monitor it. Thanks for making that point Jay. I do have a 255 pump, and it was safe on my buddies car when he made 420whp with an 11.5 afr. but without my wideband it's iffy.

I got careless with N2O and it cost me an intake manifold. It's much better to be sure.

Ya I wasn't really serious at the happy medium part. +1 on being sure that you have enough fuel. Unless you don't mind a boom! Kerns actually just blew his plastic intake not too long ago

yeah but kerns blew his coolant hose, which is pretty common. jay's talking about actually blowing the intake part i'm sure. lol.

I wont mind a boom in a few months, i have 95% of the parts for my forged shortblock. but this motors gotta last me until i finish this one. lol

Lucky. lol I want a built motor. I am trying to piece my own together as well. What rods and pistons you go with?

I bought the mmr hbeam/manley pistons from mmr, I think they were like 900 shipped with rings. then I just got a cobra crank. I'm only a set of bearings and a balance away from having everything for the short block.

I would say with being so close to a forged short block, I would hold off because you have no way of monitoring your A/F Ratio. You're going to be awfully pissed if it pops when you could have just waited.

I would go up in smaller steps...
CRASH was on the right track before he retracted the thought.
I have purchased a bunch of different jets to allow me to make small incremental changes in juice. Without A/F monitoring, I would not go for the 150's. I'd want to be sure I had enough fuel to support it before I ran a pass with it.

If you ran 12.1 before the latest upgrades, you should absolutely get into the 11's without the 150's. Work on perfecting the launch on 125's before throwing more spray at it. That will give you time to make sure you are safe with the 150's.

GOOD LUCK!!!

For what it is worth... I recently got an updated dyno tune done and put down 416rwhp with my SVT Focus fuel pump. A/F was good!

You should get 2 nitrous systems. 1 with a 125 shot and the othr with a 150 shot. Then you can get a momo steering wheel like 2 fast 2 furious and have the switches mounted to it and call 1 of them stage 1 and the other stage 2. You'd be the coolest person with a mustang if you did that.

It doesn't sound like he needs a 2 stage nitrous set-up. If he plans to use the 125 or 150 right out of the hole, there is no point. He is already all out from the 3rd yellow...
