teaserrrr
okay well formed the second shroud tonight.
first you need a a table of some sort, this is what i ended up with. Just a peice of wood, with a 1'' hole cut in the center and a PVC elbow connected to the bottom. to allow the Shop Vac hose to table. Used weatherstriping from home depot to make a gasket.

now you need a way of hold the material, i opted for acrylic. sheets of 18x24x.080 are bout 9-10bucks. used what ever i could find to build a "jig"? then some nuts and bolts to clamp em together. counter sunk so the heads of the bolts wouldnt interfear and cause a leak, and wingnuts for ease.

had to think of a way to hold the piece in place. so i used a plastic tray from work, drilled a bunch of holes in it so the air in the area where i wanted formed could be sucked through.

place the jig in the oven. youll probably have to experiment with heat and times. i went with 315 degrees for 10 mins. But ended up getting bubbles. which means id have to cut back on the heat.
when done turn on your shop vac, and place the jig on to the table over the piece. let set for a min or so. you can take a wet rag and wipe down the acyrlic to help cool down.

(no pictures for this part) cut out the shroud with a dremel. wear saftey glasses. hot lil ***** of plastic to the eye HURT!
Hopefully you get something like this!
