@justinschmidt1 Thats what I keep hearing :P

@stockd15b I know the feeling lol. IMO this will be MUCH better that putting in another PI motor...although your car is returnless so you would have to use modified mach 1 fuel rails. There is a guy on another forum that modified mach 1 fuel rails to fit on B heads (96-98 cobra, 93-98 M VIII). Alternatively if you had the cash you could just buy a 99/01 cobra motor and not have to worry about the fuel system clash.

Update: Still need to get exhaust manifolds before anything else can happen. Unfortunately headers are not in the budget. : / I took the trans out and looked at the clutch and well.........

The pics speak for themselves

So I picked up some IMRC's today from the junkyard for 10 buck a peice and got to work on them.

They are a little bit dirty still but they should come out nice. I've got a RAM HDX on the way as well as exhaust manifolds. Things should start to progress a little better next week some time!

Thanks man! I appreciate the encouragement. Stupid little technicalities and small parts are eating me alive.

So for those that may have wondered what sparked this swap:

This was the final straw.

Also, I've got exhaust manifolds in the mail on their way to me, and a clutch to be here tomorow.

New clutch and pilot bearing came in the other day. Free 3 day shipping from American Muscle is win!

Exhaust manifolds, pressure plate bolt kit, and clutch fork pivot stud come in next week.

Happy New Years MF'ers!

I've often heard about having to cut the heater tubes on the back of the mark VIII engine down about 3-4 inches, but was never too sure why......well, now I can see:
