V6 vs. V8
My 09 v6 convertible is a cruiser. It's fun to drive after the CAI and Tune.
I also get good mileage on my long drive to work. i have seen up to 32 MPG on highway. That oil aint getting any cheaper.
I enjoy the Shaker 500 Audio with the add-on Sync module too. it's a fun car. yours may be faster, but the 6 got me what i need.

Gotta love all the mightier than thou attitude some v8 owners have.
More people buy v6's than v8's, deal with it. Most don't mod v6's, the ones that do have to deal with the internet pissing contests that happens on the forums.
Not saying there is a direct causal relationship but its very likely that,
without the sales of the v6, we may have gone defunct like the camaro. Without the excellent sales of the v6 mustangs we wouldn't have had a retro mustang that caused chevy and dodge to try and cash in on the action.
Anywho, I started out modding a v6, enjoyed every minute of tinkering with it. Bought a GT when I could reasonably afford it and enjoy the GT too. End of the day it's a car, had I been able to do it over again, all the money I sunk into my bucket, I would have gone with an RS4 or M3.

I would never buy a v6 mustang...I understand that we need the v6 mustangs to exist but I still kind of tend to think of them as a different car altogether. lol
I mean when you picture an american muscle car, you imagine a v8 under the hood, end of story.
I have no problems with anyone who chooses a v6 or chooses to mod them but if they want to play, they need to be able to back it up.
Generally the v6 guys I run across are clowns with nothing more than terrible sounding exhaust.

Personally, from experience of both having a 5.0 and now my 3.8 -- I like my V6 -- My Miata with its 8 MPG is my toy, the Mustang is a great DD. Couple bolt ons and some old fashion tuning you have more then enough performance for "legal" activities unless you plan to go to the track. I like pulling having a great looking car and still benefiting from the MPG. 2.3, v6, v8 whatever, its all under the same badge.
(had to edit)...I think the real questions would be is which is better? Being a single man with a Mustang or a Married/Relationship Man with Mustang, LOL LOL.......
