Who would you guys suggest as a reliable source for a clean set of seats for our 03 GT Convertible. Black Leather....

We have a 35k mile car.. And dropped the seats at a shop weeks ago for custom upholstery work... Since then the guy has been dodging us and avoiding calls. It's getting really frustrating, and I'm beginning to think we won't see them any time soon..

So, I'm looking for a set...

Show up there, demand them back and take your business somewhere else.

I was going to replace mine but I can get them re upholstered for way less.

That's my next step. We've been patient all the way up until this weekend, when we were lied to... Told they were "done" and to come pick them up at 6PM.. Knowing they closed at 4PM, I asked why so late... his answer was that he was "wrapping up some last minute things".. When I got there at 6PM the place was a ghost town... It took over an hour to get there...

You can imagine I wasn't too happy.. So, I am going to demand the seats back, but if they look like absolute dog dump, I want to have a plan B, or worse, if they "disappeared" and we have legal problems, I want a plan B....

I've tried EBay.. not much right now except a set of Cobra (Coupe) seats.. And correct me if I'm wrong, but COUPE seats are different then Convertible seats, right? At least the rear??

couple and vert seats are different. one of them is taller, i cant remember which one it is tho, and correct the rears are different. if you want stock seats try craigslist, or local junk yards.

Tell the guy if he doesn't get your seats to you, you're reporting him to the authorities.

That's absolutely ridiculous. You shouldn't have to buy new seats b/c some piece of **** won't get them back to you.

Where are you located OP? Who are you having reupholster the seats?

How much is it to get re-upholstered?

I was quoted by Dick and Ricks in MN that it would be about 100-150 for my drivers seat if I bring just the seat to them. That was just a quote without looking at them. They said they would just replace the parts of the upholstery that need it.
