stack racing gauge wiring

Default stack racing gauge wiring

Okay I have dash all installed , the pins move and light up but gauges dont the instructions said the ground was black but i didnt see a black so i seen on another website that the ground is the brown/white wire is ground but nothing .. any help please trying to leave lol i expected fast easy install but looks like its becoming to stress lol..

here is a pic of dash and wire just incase that helps think you for all your help

I hooked mine up to the defroster switch so when I turn on the lights the gauges light up and also dim with headlight switch

where is the defrost switch cause im not having any luck with the headlight switch .. I been trying and trying im about to give up !!!

Thanks for the instructions .. have those but i dont think its really to detailed .. cause no black cord for the ground and the big grey cord aint working for me ..

Depending on the year on my 99 GT its just near the head light switch.
On the later models its near the shifter.
You could also tap into the wiring that lights up your radio dimmer or heater controls lights.

I did the defroster switch because it was close to gauges but those are other options to use headlight dimming circut.

BTW..the dimmer they give you with kit sucks,i didnt use it ,thats why I wired it into the headlight dimming circut to dim gauges with headlight switch.
