Don't have a blower, but for polishing I use the real stuff. brite max ez cut and final shine, if it's something real bad that I need to bring back I will use a light acid to clean it up and a SOS pad with LIGHT preasure and go around what ever you are about to polish. It should feel smooth to the touch when you are done washing it off. Next take some rubbing compound and a buffer as a first coat. After that I will do one coat of ez cut with the buffer, and then one by hand. After that I finish it up with the final shine

spent about 20 hours on this

yeah but that would of been on top of the $845 i spent, so that would of been $1745 thats almost the price of a new blower. I planned on doing a SI upgrade, but that would of been $1145 shipped for a SI trim plus the work i needed done which i thought was a bad idea to do especially since going from a s to a si isnt a huge gain anyways

It is around $900 for a SI upgrade and rebuild, but not a t trim. When you go from s to si the just do a new volute and impeller. From s to a t trim they do new gears and bearings too so it is more expensive
