no what i meant was im saving up to about 7k for my next car, so when i pay this one off, i can decide wether i want to purchase another car which i most likely will depending on finances.

I could get about 8-10k to build up the car in about a year if i save about 3/4 of my pay.

With that being said, with LT's, catted x, catback exhaust, CAI and 91 tune, cams, do you think i could hit 350 at the wheels?
Sadly you'll fall short of that goal. I had every bolt on under the sun minus LT's (had shortys) and I made 272 to the rear wheels.. With the above mentioned mods listed, I see maybe 260-270 to the rear wheels. I learned the hard way.. 2 V's do not respond well to bolt on's...

Power adder, Id look at Vortech Si trim blowers. you can piece together a kit for fairly cheap and they make great streetable power.

Motor. Forged internals are just a Metal hat has been Forged. you can look up he forging process for a better understanding but your stock crank, some H beams and manley or diamond Pistons of your dish size will be sufficient for 500-550rwhp. but if you have the slightest idea you might go over that go with a frged crank too.

Fuel 60lb injectors. Dual cobra hat with 255 pumps. im not very good with fuel systems

Exhaust. As long as you get rid of the sock midpipe you'll be good

Trans..aluminum flywheels are awesome IMO made my old 03 rev alot faster. clutch wise id go ahead and get a twin disk. a spec stage 2+ or 3 may suffice but eh.

rear, 31 splines 3.55 or 373 for over 500rwhp ( thats just my opinion)

Cam, LTs and every bolt on guys have hit 300rwhp but most like soldier are around 270-290

wow. So with a tune, Lt's, and cams i might only hit the bhp rating from the factory...?

I'f I'm not mistaken a New Edge (manual) put's down 220 or so to the rear wheels. With the mods you'r talking about adding there's know way you're gonna gain a 130 hp. If that's the case know one here would go FI. You're off to a good start though. Skip the CAI and put the money towards something else like gears.

Being reliant on a 91 tune is gonna hurt you a little, is 93 not available where you are at? I would say a built motor, cams, TFS heads, and boost would get you there. But I would go with a bigger centrifical setup.

Like others have said, no.. The easiest way to hit that is just put a blower on it.. You can make 300+ wheel easy with a simple blower install.. It's not very expensive, easy to do, and reliable...

I had the vortech s-trim on my 01. The motor just recently blew. This is my build(trying to hit about 550).
Built motor. Hitech is about 10 miles from me. about $4000. this would be me bringing my motoer to them, dissasembly, machine work, new rods and pistons stage 2 blower cams gaskets and reassembly.
New fuel system complete kit through Lethal about $1600 not including 80 lb injectors. another $400. I may put the parts toghether myself to save a few buck. I allready have all the lines.
Rebuild tranny while its out $250
Finish the rear suspension while i'm at it. about another $1000(ta setup)
either new t-trim blower or turbo about $2000
Front suspension if I go the with the turbo. about $1000
redyno tune $250

That puts me at $9500 supercharger or $10,500 if i go turbo. This would be doing all the work myself except the actual motor build. It probalby could be done for less if i didn't touch the tranny or suspension but i'm going for reliabilty.

If you go s-trim you could be at close to 375-400 horse for about 3k (used set up with supporting mods and tune)

Putting 500rwhp on these cars is very costly, and honestly, unless you have funds you can just throw at it without second thought, it might not be for you. I need $15,000 just to buy some of the main components, that doesn't include paying a mechanic, or any of the small odds or ends...(i'm sure it'll be another $10,000 before its finished at the least). Even I am second judging myself on building my Stang, and I have more money than time.

I noticed on one of your last posts your maybe looking into something a little less expensive. I'm no expert by any means, so please tell me to shut my mouth if i'm wrong haha, but from what i've seen making 300-350rwhp is fairly inexpensive, and can be done with minimal supporting mods, and still be reliable.

i can tell, i thought maybe these cars would put down 230ish on a dyno and hopefully maybe squeeze to 325 with the bolt ons i had said earlier, but i guess that doesnt look too promising
