Hey guys I've been advised by the installer to drive her at least 500 miles before I put to much stress on the motor. I'll post numbers soon!

Really smart idea.

Are you running break in oil? Or thicker oil?

And on break in keep it below 4k n no boost

Never understood the drive it easy stuff. Doesn't matter if you are easy on it, or beat it up at first. If it isn't a good build, it is going to break anyway.

It not that you have to worry about it breaking it you gotta let the motor settle.

Ex. The piston rings will loosen up and to properly lube everything before u just hammer on it.

As soon as you start a motor the piston rings start wearing away, so initially the rings press on the cylinders more then they will b in 500 miles.

All the top engine builders recommend doing it this way to give the motor longer life

most engine builders still say 500 miles of easy driving and people buying a motor from them will 99 percent of the time listen to the builder. even after the myth of break in miles is dismissed.

but anyways, whens the new tune date soldier? i cant wait to see numbers!
