Best mods to wake up a new edge gt?
I am about to purchase a new edge gt and plan on modding a little. I am planning on doin 4.10 gears, sct tuner with bama tune and an o/r xpipe right when I get it. What else should I do to wake the car up? I was thinking of getting UDP's also and then saving to get tb/plenum. Do you guys think that will wake the car up? Also I am lookin to get around 240-250hp to the rear wheels, which I think is good considering my stock gtp makes 197 and weighs a lot more. Also I am going to get a 5 speed.

It must be Tuesday...
OP, you are right on track for 240 to 250 at the wheels. Do the plenum first it is the weak link--read more here--any aftermarket plenum with the stock 65 mm TB will outflow any size TB on the stock plenum.
UDPs will not add any power, however if you are the sort that runs hard into the upper revs (5000+) you will experience improved acceleration in the lower gears...

IMHO (OK, maybe not that humble), cams on a 2V are the sort of things a nutcase like me might do--I.e. one seeking to have a very happy engine and specifically avoid forced injection--which I, retired and on a fixed income do not care to pursue.
They are on my short list and as I can install them myself the cost is not all that great, however in terms of 2V "bang for the buck" one of the centrifugal "supercharger"¹ kits is the way to go--after and beyond simple bolt ons...

¹ - Actually a belt-driven "turbo", I reserve the term supercharger for positive displacement power-adders.

cams require usually 3.55 or steeper gear ratio along with a full exhaust and intake is recommended. also you will need a tune in most cases after the cam install.
There is nothing wrong with a cam install on 2v's, in some cases you can get up to 40 hp gain with the appropriate setup. this is what i will be putting on my car:

those are cms stage 2 n/a cams

another thing, UDP's free up power and do not create power, so if your looking to run a sub/amp or speakers of some sort in the future, i wouldnt recommend them. i would put the money into something else, but thats just my opinion
