No need to modify fpdm

Put one In my 01 cobra all I needed was a retune ran a little fatter up top

Gt pump alone will support ~470rwhp

I've read a million times that the gt pumps can draw too much amps an cause thermal shutdown of the fpdm. Now I personally don't have experience but when I see things more than a few times I tend to listen lol. Just tossing my .02 out there

Put ~500 miles on my pump and never had a problem

My tuner (lidio alternative auto) never mentioned anything when I talked to him about it or while he was tuning it. And never said a thing and he is one to voice his opinion

I do know that when you run 2 gt pumps you have to add a fpdm or modify it

I am running a GT pump and BAP and still have room to grow. My pump was maxed out without the BAP. I am now at 71% duty cycle. Throw the headers on and get dual pumps and a BAP and call it done.

Please tell us how a BAP is bad. In my case I added a 20amp BAP to a Focus pump and have no problems at around the 500rwhp level.

LOL
I know guys are trying to be helpful, but the idea that I read it several times so it must be true is a problem on forums like these. Someone takes a comment they read above and tells it somewhere else in the same manner and before you know it, people are saying that everyone says ...

Although a lot can be learned from observing other people's mistakes, it is best to just tell what you have experienced so that we avoid rumors becoming gospel.

When in doubt, ask a reputable tuner.
