Default Can you identify this wire for me?

I found this while working on the cigarette lighter. The one wire is just laying there. The one black wire appears to be cut.

It's not stock--is the yellow "wire" a cable or single conductor? Any markings on the box other then the "8G"?

Thanks cliffyk.

I will take a closer look. "If helpful", I was only poking around in there to begin with because my cigarette lighter stopped working for my cell phone charger. I don't believe it to be related. The one black wire looks to be cut with side cutters.

Wired fm modulator? The black wire was plugged into the mach 460. The orange wire was plugged into the box with the 8G sticker. The wire that was cut has
RG-174U coaxial cable.

If it is a wired fm modulator would it be worth replacing? I presently have a wireless that I am returning anyways (it's a pos).

Thanks,
Tom V
