Default Cam position sensor....

So I replaced my cam sensor because my engine light kept coming on with the same code for the cam sensor. Light keeps coming out even after new sensor. I've read that it is highly likely that the alternator is the culprit. A diode or something goes bad and causes interference with the sensor? Anyways I was mainly wondering what voltaoshould I typically see from the alternator when the car is idling and driving? And should the volts fluctuate much? On idle my car reads from 11.5 - 12.3. Higher rpms bring 13-13.9

at idle it should be in the 13s and higher...if its not charging at idle, replace it... I believe you answered your own question there bud
