hey everybody, theres a 96 #358 saleen at a local dealer by me. i like riding around and looking at some mustangs for sale, gives me something to do. I find this interesting though, is this a legit saleen? looks like an aftermarket wing and rims, and i didnt think they came with vortech superchargers.. and actually i thought most 96-98 saleens were not supercharged.

im thinking its a base saleen with aftermarket vortech. says its 425 rwhp and the shop it was tuned at is pretty reputable in my area.

If it is aftermarket, they did a good job of adding the dual cluster on the dash like the s/c saleens out there. can somebody run the vin? kind of has me curious. thoughts? thanks

It appears legit based on the fact it has a serialized plate on the dash. I personally have never seen a fake saleen or roush that had one. But I'll let someone that can run the vin or verify the serial number give their opinion.

Or, just contact saleen.

im pretty sure its authentic, but wasnt sure if supercharged 96 saleens came with a vortech or not, maybe its aftermarket. Thanks for your input
