Voltage at A/C compressor?

Been away from this forum for a couple months.
After getting all that work accomplished on the Mustang, my future FIL wigged out one day over an important but dysfunctional family issue, and rammed his Scion xB into the back of the Mustang while it was parked and unoccupied in the carport. It was my fiancée's special car...he knew that...rammed it hard and shoved it another 30 feet or so across the back patio and up onto an 18" retaining wall with that ugly little box car. It was a freaky bad and sad day.

Yeah, its been really unpleasant, the insurance hassles and haggling...the messed up family dynamic. It was a really awful gut-blow to me fiancée to have her own dad do that. But at the end of the day we'll come out whole financially and I found a really great collision center...they've haggled with insurance and got the value of the car up high enough that the $8,300 in repairs didn't total it out. I believe they are done with structural work and fitting replacement body components and it goes to paint this week. Looking at the detailed estimate the actual body work or repair to structure is minimal...mostly replacing with straight components/parts. And fortunately the damage didn't reach to the motor.

Dude for real?? Good luck with your future in-law, sounds like you might need it. Surprised he's not doing a little time for destruction of property or something like that; I know I'd be in jail if somebody did that to my car.

Thank you. I appreciate that.
My fiancée is an amazing woman...chose not to press charges...that doesn't mean she didn't let him know in no uncertain terms she saved his a$$...it was an ugly situation. Pressured by law enforcement to make a decision. But everybody, including law enforcement, made sure he knew he was a raging douche, and he's made it financially right. The emotional part is going to take a long time, but the car is covered and then some.
I believe the Mustang went to paint today.
