Default SR Short Throw vs Steeda - Or is SR at Steeda

I bought a very low mileage 2004 GT and I want to put a short throw shifter on it. I was looking between the Pro 5.0 and the Steeda. I already ordered a custom shift know for which ever one I get.

I was looking at Summit and they have a SR Short Throw which looks like a Steeda without the Steeda name on it. Sure looks similar but there may be differences that I cannot see. Have any of you tried the SR Short Throw and how does it compare to the Steeda Triax?

Leaning toward the Steeda (or SR knockoff) over the pro-5 due to the longer handle on the Steeda.

I thought SR was AM's house brand?

Spend the few extra $$ and get the Steeda. Or spend a few $$ more and get the MGW. You won't be disappointed with either.

Ordered a Steeda. Should get it in a few days. Hopefully get it in in a week or so when I have some free time. Looking forward to it.

The install will take literally less than 30 minutes. The Steeda comes with very clear instructions, I think you will be very happy with it. Before it shows up, go get a small tube of rtv silicone sealant, a small bead will be needed between the base of the shifter and the transmission.
