I have a 1997 gt with a five speed transmission, being so when I’m ping a pull (in Mexico) of course and it’s goes good until I hit 120 in 4th and shift to fifth and then it cuts out as if all fuel pressure is lost until I cycle the key and it comes back to normal. If driving regularly there is no problems. Only thing done is a cold air intake and aftermarket coil packs.
