Exclamation tfi module

my car has an issue starting up. if i leave it setting for awhile, like a day or so, theres a good chance itll start. but once i start it asnd let it run for a few, and then turn it off, it doesnt wanna start back. the engine cranks and cranks, ive got great fuel pressure, im pretty sure im getting a spark, but when im by myself, its hard to look at the coil and crank it too. so is this a sign that my tfi module has taken a crap on me?

When its cranking, does it sound like the engine is dragging? Check out the pickup coil also.

to be honest, when the engine drags is a sign that my car is gonna start. i know it sounds weird, but every car is different i know. when it cranks normally it usually doesnt start, thats why im so confused. i was thinking it may have been my igniton system, but i dont claim to know it all. so anyway, this pickup coil is in the distributor right? i know on my truck i can take the cap and rotor off the dizzy and a couple of screws or bolts and it pulls out and unplugs. is this the same way or does the whole dizzy have to come out?

You would need to remove the distributor completely in order to replace the pickup coil. Make sure to make a mark on the distributor cap and somewhere on the engine so that the rotor is pointing in the same direction as it was before you removed it. The cost of the pick up is is like $25 or less. Just time consuming.
