Howdy folks. I am the new owner of a 1996 GT that has been sitting for many years. I'm looking forward to fixing it up alongside my daughter who acquired a 1995 GT.

My question is this: the oil cooler has sat for a decade with water and oil mixed in it. I took it all apart and cleaned what I could. I put a new gasket set in it but it the fins on the cooler are too corroded and it leaks. I have a 2001 Crown Vic that has an oil filter housing that looks like it would fit the Stang, minus the oil cooler. Will the Crown Vic housing bolt right up with the correct gasket?
