Default 2004 Vert with Electrical Codes

Hi y'all! New to the forums here--I do hope I'm posting in the right place. I apologize if I'm not.

I'm looking for some guidance as when it comes to electrical components, I'm about as confused as a fart in a fan factory. So we have an '04 vert with 130k on her. She runs great, sounds great, nice little summer car. But we've been having a few issues. Biggest one is when we're driving and she gets up to temp, it starts to bog out and lose power--if we shut it off and turn it back on again things go back to normal until it does it again. We also have the security light on the dash that blinks rapidly 24/7. There is a draw somewhere as it needs to get jumped or put on the charger after about a week and a half.

We hooked it up to the scanner and a few codes popped up. Three are in relation to the GEM and the other is B1342 and mentions a fault in the ECU. I was thinking of sending in our ECU to be gone through and refurbished so I reached out to the company that does that. They were wondering if I shouldn't see if it's the GEM instead. Anyone have any ideas or recommendations on what we can do? Looking for any guidance---hoping to get her fixed up and on the road this summer. Thanks in advance all!

WOW... No replies in this ? Someone has to have had this type of trouble on a convertible and there must be a go ref on the mistake codes.
