Default 35th anniversery (1999) 4.6L GT mustang convertible error codes problem.

I have 109,000 miles on my GT 4.6L Mustang. Error codes; P0603 and P1633 which are internal control module KAM error and KAM voltage too low were shown. I did install a battery but the running condition of the car was poor prior to disconecting the power. The intake manifold was replaced due to coolent leaks in the thermostat area. I would thank anyone in advance for information on the codes, where the module is located and how to clear the codes to see if the car will perform better. I heard some automotive stores will clear the codes for free. If the codes are cleared and then are shown again what remedy would be best? Your input and info will be appreciated.

Yeah, an auto parts store might have a scanner to delete the codes for you, but you should also be able to reset the pcm by disconnecting the negative terminal on the battery for 5-10 minutes. As far as those dtc's you pulled are concerned, I'm pretty sure there's a sticky somewhere around here (check the main 4.6 section) that will give you definitions for each (which sounds like you already have) and possible causes. If all else fails, google them. The pcm itself is located behind the passenger side kick panel (fyi since you asked).

You can clear the codes by disconnecting the battery but this won't make the problem go away. It just turns off the dash light.
