i have a friend of mine that has borlas he wants to sell, because his wife said they were too loud... right now i have flowmasters, and they sound really raspy and start crackling at about 2500-3000 rpms, i think the mufflers might have a problem, because i heard about flowmaster having a mile long list of complaints... would the borlas give it a deeper tone and get rid of raspiness???

 

I have the borlas, No rasp just a nice deap sound you will love them.

 

Your friends wife needs to get her own car. My borlas aren't raspy at all, very smooth and very deep. To smooth for me actually so soon I'll be trying out an O/R H-pipe. They do drone a bit from 1600-2000. Flowmasters are barely a step up from stock so I wouldn't have bought them in the first place.
