Hey I've only heard great things about the hurst shifter for the 05-06s. Is this the one you guys have? https://www.dcfstore.com/cart/pc/vie...idproduct=1251
If not could you send a link to the one yall have? My dads gettin a shelby (white w/ blue stripes) as his daily driver and hes gunna mod it up. First mod would probably be the hurst shifter. Thanks guys.

Edit: Oh ya is their a differance between the 06 GT and the Shelby transmition?? (manual of course )

Also, the Cobra and the '06 transmissions are totally different. The Cobra has a 6-speed, the GT is a 5-speed for starters.

Yeah, that shifter won't work for the 07 Shelby GT500. I haven't seen any yet that will work with the new Shelby, but then again I haven't really been looking for new Shelby parts since I can't afford to buy one, let alone mod one.

And, on a side note; OMG, that shifter is a full $80 (almost 50% increase) more at DCF than almost any other retailer. Brenspeed is offering the same shifter for $189. DCF wants $269. No wonder their hood is $1800. It looks like now everything they have is extremely overpriced.

Wont be looking at DCFs page anymore, thanks for noticing the price. If any of yall find a 6 speed short throw shifter for the shelby post here or PM me please. That and some gears (4.10s probably) will be installed after we get the car (late august)

Hope your planning on running 345's in the back with 4.10 gears, lol
