CAI Help, Newbie first tuner decision: Plastic vs Metal
Hey guys thanks for the feedback on the CAI question. Called Evoperform to order the SCT XCalibrator 2 with C&L MAF Trueflow cold air intake combo. They suggested the plastic one instead. I like the price of plastic $525 vs $625. They said lightweight too. What are the pros and cons here? Don't want to regret my first customization.

The gains are going to be very close. It is just a matter of what u think looks better. When I asked Brent about it he said the racer (plastic) version typically dynoed a few less HP. I think he said about 4 less.
