Which CAI w/ which tuner?
I just bought my '06 GT and was wondering what yall had to say about the different CAI's out there, also I have a XCAL2 that I had from my previous vehicle, and was also wondering what yall had to say about that? As far as my F150 it was pretty much the best out there, same deal with the mustang?
Appreciate the help guys.

RE: Which CAI w/ which tuner?
All the tuner devices do the same thing. They are just a tool that copies a file onto your car's computer. Think of it like a DVD player. The player doesn't really matter, it's the MOVIE that matters.
The most popular and well supported tuners are the SCT-II and the Diabolosport Predator.
...however what seperates a good tune job from a lousy one is where you get your tunes from. You can buy tuners like the SCT or the Predator from many places. Used: (Ebay, your buddy, etc.), discount stores like Summit or Jegs, or from dedicated tuning shops like Brenspeed or Evolution, etc.
The trouble with the first option is you have no idea what kind of tune you are getting. It could be great, it could be awful. The big discount stores will give you the default tunes from the SCT or Diablosport factory. These are mediocre, but safe. The best option is to get them from a dedicated tuning shop. These guys will give you a custom tune for YOUR exact car and your exact mods.
My suggestion: Sell your SCT that you had for your old car. Instead, buy a new one from Brent @ Brenspeed. He'll get you hooked up with a tune specifically for YOUR car. You'll be grinning from ear to ear.
