Default Looking at getting Pro 5.0 gears.....help

I currently have 3.55's and I am debating between 3.90's or 4.10's and the other night looking on ebay I came a cross Pro 5.0 gears for a good price.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...746&rd=1,1I know Pro 5.0 makes nice products just not sure about their gears. I was wondering if anybody is running Pro 5.0 gears and what they think such as quality, noise..etc. Also maybe you guys and gals could help me also decide between 3.90's or 4.10's Forgot to mention the car is a 5-speed

Thanks

The majority of people here seem to go with FFRP gears. Might be a reason why? A lot of people complain about gear whine and etc related to other gears. Motive for example.

What do think as far as 3.90's or 4.10's...I was leaning towards 3.90's do to freeway driving but I'm tossed up

I had pro 5.0 installed by panhandle performance in panama city FL years ago, that's the brand they used. They didn't whine at all, but it's more on the installer if they whine or don't whine.

I had my mechanic put in Pro 5.0 4.10 gears and they do whine. Like the previous poster said, installation is everything but I have heard the FRPP gears are less likely to. Put it this way. If I'd gone with the FRPP's and they whined I'd know it was the install because the majority of people with them never have a problem. If I had it to do over again I wouldn't go with the Pro 5.0
You should go with 4.10 gears and not the 3.90 because the difference between them is not that great but I believe the 3.90 gears are made by Motive.
