'06 Rear Axle Codes?

Default '06 Rear Axle Codes?
I would like to install shorter gears and mod the rear on my '06 GT for some upcoming horsepower. I was wondering if I need to buy a posi unit as well or if the car already has one. The axle code is CG. I did a search here and didn't find any answers. Please help!
