Default JLT

I'm sorry to re-post but I didn't quite get the answer I was looking for. I read the article in the article in the 5.0 Mustang magazine a while ago in which they compared 12 CAI's. I have a K&N with an SCT 2 (87, 91, 93 octane) from Brenspeed. In the article, the JLT won hands down. Is it worth it for me to switch to a JLT? Thanks in advance for your feedback.

I'm not familiar with the cost of the K&N you have but the JLT is $200. I have one and like it. How much more gain was the JLT compared to the K&N? I remember the JLT had the best numbers too. If it's only a few more HP I might just invest the money in a shifter, gearsor a custom dyno tune.

I only bought my C&L because I got a sick deal on it. The JLT is the best bang for the buck IMO. I started with a K&N. You will definitely notice an improvement. I put my K&N on when she goes to the dealer now lol.

I would say C&L and JLT are the best, but K&N and Steeda probably arent too far behind. I wouldnt worry about it now, but if you wanna get it later down the road, it wouldnt hurt to switch.

Yes it's probably worth a few ponies to swap to the jltII intake. If you can find a used one for a good deal. A new tune is needed for sure though.
