udp and SC?

what is the big deal why you do not have them on your car with a SC.? I do not understand ?

How UDP work is that they slow the movement off all the accessories, in turn, allowing the crank to spin faster...so it "Under" drives the accessories...

If you bolt on a S/C...the S/C is an accessorie...so why would you want to underdrive the S/C??

If you underdrive the supercharger, you are holding the blower back from its potential...

underdrive pullies=accessories turning less

accessories turning less=s/c turning less

s/c turning less=less boost

less boost=less power

lol, i assume i don't need to go on.

YOU feel dumb? Until I read this thread I thought UDP stood for up/down pipes, like with the ricer crowd...I was thinking it didn't make sense in the stang world, but maybe meant a combo mod of headers and a midpipe..oh well, just wanted to put it all in perspective for you...
